Happy New Year!!!!!

Well here we are 15 min away from a new year!!! This past year has gone by so fast that my head is still spinning. Its been great at times and not so great at times. The best thing has of course been Caleb. Watching him grow everyday is the best thing in the world. He has such a strong willed personality (pretty sure he takes after his momma, LMAO). He's such a terrific kid, even when he's throwin a fit. LOL. From all of us here in the Dintelman household we hope you have a terrific New Year!!! Make 2009 the best year yet!!!

Here are a few pictures from our Christmas!!! Caleb had a great time. His brothers were here From Saturday until Tuesday so he had fun helping them with opening their presents also! Even Dinky had a great time! Hope everyone had a terrific holiday!!!!! We are excited about the upcomming new year and what it may bring!

Caleb Turns 1!!

Well its official! We have a 1 year old! Its so hard to believe that he's already a year old! He had a great time at his party...even tho he wouldnt go near his cake, LOL. Maybe if we put pudding in front of him he would have made a mess but he wanted nothing to do with that cake! LOL.
He got a TON of AWESOME gifts!!!! I want to thank everyone for EVERYTHING. I know times are really hard right now with Christmas coming so those of you that came and brought our baby a present we can't thank you enough. He has been on toy overload the past 24hrs. He doesnt know what to play with and where to play with it! Im tellin you...the kid RAKED it in. I have the best friends and the best Family. He got so many great gifts. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

What a Difference a Year Makes!!!

It's so hard for me to believe that Caleb is going to be a year old tomorrow! It seems like yesterday I was at the hospital having the little booger! He has brought more happiness and joy to our life than we ever thought possible. You never realize that you can love one little person so much. Even when they're driving you up the wall! He has developed such a strong willed personality, just like his momma, haha. But as we approach the big day I thought I would share some of our favorite pictures from the last year in no particular order as I am still new at this! Its amazing how fast the time goes when you are truly having fun!

Haircut #2!

I swear his hair is growing faster now since we cut it! He got his 2nd haircut today!!! YAY! He got a little bored and didn't want to sit the entire time so we did have to get creative, but he still did great! In just two days our little boy is going to be a year old...where does the time go?

Prince for a day!

We took Caleb to ToysRUs yesterday to use his birthday gift card they sent him. He got a crown and a balloon! He wasnt quite sure what to think with all the attention from random people! lol. We can't wait till his birthday party!!!

Well I gave Caleb one of his Christmas presents early to encourage him to walk. He's been trying for a while but he just gets nervous and sits down. LOL. I thought if he had his walker he'd be more apt to let go of it and take off...let me tell you, hes fast! The first picture is really blury b/c hes going so fast but the look on his face is priceless!!! And as soon as daddy got home he had to show him what he learned. I think he's learning that walking is getting him places faster...like to mess with the TV when he knows he's not supposed to! One of these days he'll let go of the walker and do it on his own but Im not rushing him. I'll work with him during the day and he'll get the hang of it when he's ready. They do everything in their own time!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Well Caleb's 1st Thanksgiving has come and gone...*tear*. LOL. He's not been feeling well but he had a good time. He ate some of all the food but liked the cranberry sauce and the choc pie the best! Chunky butt! He had fun exploring Grandpa Jim's house and found one of his Grandma Bonnie's bears. For some reason whenever we are there he always finds something that was his grandma's. From our family to yours, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Caleb got a haircut!!!

YAY! We finally got a haircut today. Daddy has been wanting to cut it for some time but I just couldn't bring myself to do it *tear*. It was crazy but it made him look like a baby. Now he looks like such a little man! He did so great. He sat in the chair all by himself like a big boy and talked away to Stephanie. But if his hair grows anything like his dads we'll have a standing appt every three weeks! LOL. Here are the before, during, and after pics. I took him to Wal-Mart this afternoon and he was pimpin his new do! Leaned back and smiling at everyone. He knew he looked good...LOL.

Well today we thought it would be fun to let Caleb feed himself pudding. LOL. Lets just say after he was done he definately needed to go straight to the bath! He was covered in pudding! This was totally out of mommys comfort zone...Im learning slowly but surly that you can't keep them clean 24/7 no matter how much you want to!!!
Tomorrow he's getting his first haircut. I think its a bigger deal for me than it is for him! I really wanted to wait till after his 1st birthday but its hangin in his eyes a lot and it makes him mad. LOL. I'll post pics of his haircut tomorrow! YAY!

Finally!!!!

YAY! Finally Caleb looks more like his momma!!! haha. Mostly what we have heard since he was born, "oh he looks just like his daddy." Even this said he looked more like daddy by 7% when he was a couple months old. Just goes to show how much they do grow and change the first year!
