Christmas 2009

Caleb and his Mickey stocking

Here are a few pictures from Christmas morning! Caleb had a great time and loved everything that Santa brought him this year!

I'm ready for presents!
Is it time?

Santa brought lots of clothes and train engines!

Ripping the presents open!

Here mom, you can have the paper!

We hope everyone had a great holiday! We sure did, we are so blessed to have the life that we have and wouldn't trade it for anything!

We got word that Caleb will be changing classes at school. He's moving up to the 2 1/2 year old class room! He just turned 2 so we thought it was a little early but if the school says he's ready then they know better than we do! We're excited for him and we're sure he'll do great!

We have the twins here with us to ring in the New Year so I will post more pictures of their Christmas and their visit!

Caleb's 2nd Birthday Party

We had Caleb's 2nd birthday party on December 5th this year. A couple weeks before his actual birthday but it was so much easier with the holidays right around the corner! He had a Thomas party this year and LOVED it! He had so much fun! Here are just a few pictures from the party, there are a ton more but would take forever to upload them all!

We had pizza this year!

Whew, we've been busy!

Ok, I know I promised house pictures and I will get them up soon but things have been CRAZY! We had to make an emergency trip to Michigan the beginning of November because my brother Gene lost his battle with pancreatic cancer and passed away. It was a very sad time for me, Gene was the brother I was closest to growing up, not in age or anything, but I always had a bond with him that I did not have with my other brothers. Being adopted makes it rough some times!
On the way home from Michigan we stopped through Chicago and took some pictures and also St. Louis so I will have those pictures to post as well!
This past weekend we had Caleb's 2nd birthday party! We had a Thomas the train theme and he had a great time! (Pictures to come soon!)
Caleb is enjoying school and growing like a weed! Thankfully though I think that his foot growth has slowed some. Thank goodness! He's in a size 9 right now and I am really hoping he stays there for a while. :-)
We are looking forward to Christmas with the kiddos and plan on just sticking around home. We have done a lot of traveling this year, some not by choice, but now it is nice to just stick to home and try to relax a little bit.
I have included a couple of pictures we took this past weekend. The first is Caleb and I after his birthday party...Aunt Mandy snapped this one while we were dancing. Caleb is such a happy kid and this picture really really shows that! He is also very loving and always giving kisses and hugs and telling us he loves us. The second is Caleb doing is rock star hair impression. LOL. I will try to post more soon! Hopefully I can get them online during winter break from school!
